How to Play Keyquest on Neopets
"Key Quest" is a multiplayer game found in the online game "Neopets." Players earn expensive items and Neopoints for playing the game. Each game takes a short amount of time and can earn you items as "Codestones" and various map pieces. There are different stages of game play from one or two keys to up to four keys. Those players who win a four key game have the chance of winning a coveted paintbrush.

Sign in to your Neopets account. Click on the "Games" link at the top of the page and then on "Key Quest" from the drop down menu.

Open the game and get your starter piece to begin play. Your piece is randomly selected from the possible Yellow Puggle, Red Meerca, Blue Bruce or Green Cybunny.

Begin the game. You can play with either random Neopet players or with your Neofriends. The game is for two to four players.

Click on the dice to roll them and move the correct number of spaces. You can move in any direction on the board.

Land on a purple-starred space and you will play a random mini-game for Neopoints. Land on a space with a diamond surrounded by a white circle you receive a power up. If you land on a space with a large "NP" on it, you receive a random amount of Neopoints.

Pick up colored keys around the board by landing on the space they occupy. The more different colored keys you pick up, the better chances you have of winning. In order to get these keys you must plan several turns ahead and move in any direction you want around the board.

Win the game and you will receive a prize key that will open the prize vault. If you won by getting two keys you will be getting a lead key that will have a small prize inside the vault. Three keys gets you a silver key and the second place person gets a bronze key and the third place person gets a lead key. Four keys gets you a gold key, the second place person gets a silver one, third place gets you a bronze key and fourth place gets you a lead key. If you get a gold key you have the chance at receiving better prizes the someone with a lesser key.

Tips & Warnings
If someone in the game quits during game play it causes the whole game to quit; no one gets any prizes.
