How to Get Negative EXP in "Halo 3"

"Halo 3" is a first-person shooter developed by Bungie for the Xbox 360. "Halo 3" utilizes an online ranking system which measures a player's performance. Throughout the course of gameplay, players are awarded experience for completing objectives and killing opposing players. This experience translates into an online rank, which is considered a measure of a player's skill. It is possible to have experience taken away by performing acts that would be considered counter-productive.

Instructions

    • 1

Join a team-based multiplayer online match.

    • 2

Attack players on your team with the intent to kill them. For every friendly-fire kill, you will have experience taken away from your point total.

    • 3

Continue killing your teammates until you are booted from the match.

Tips & Warnings

  • You must deliver all damage to a friendly player to have it counted as a betrayal. If a player on the opposing team deals any damage to the slain player, they will be awarded with the kill. Explosive weapons, such as the rocket launcher and grenades, are the most effective ways to kill a friendly player.

  • Team killing will not gain you many friends.
