How to Catch Pikachu in the Viridian Forest

In most of the games in the series, numerous bug-type Pokemon inhabit this forest; however, you may also discover wild Pikachu, electric-type Pokemon that resemble yellow rodents. To capture a Pikachu, you will need to stock up on PokeBalls before entering the Viridian Forest. After you inflict status impairment on Pikachu, you can easily subdue it with a PokeBall.

Pikachu's electric-type attacks are useful against water-type Pokemon; however, ground-type Pokemon have an elemental advantage over the electric rodent.
