Instructions

    • 1

Pour the paint into a clean bucket.

    • 2

Add hardener and reducer to the paint. Read the manual for the SS urethane paint and choose the hardener and reducer recommended. Add the hardener and reducer by the amounts indicated in the manual. Usually you mix them at a ratio of 4 parts paint to 1 part hardener and 1 part reducer.

    • 3

Stir the paint, hardener and reducer mixture with the paint mixing sticks. Stir the paint for at least 3 minutes to ensure the hardener and reducer is adequately blended.

    • 4

Put the 1.5 mm spray gun tip onto the spray gun. Pour the paint into the spray gun.

    • 5

Spray the SS urethane paint on the car. Apply a thin, even coat of paint. Let the paint dry for at least 10 minutes between each coat. Apply two to three coats until you reach your desired color. Let the final coat dry for 24 hours before exposing the car to the elements.

Tips & Warnings

  • The car must be adequately prepared for painting before applying the SS urethane paint. Preparing the car means repairing dents and holes, sanding the car, and covering all the items you do not want painted.
