Adobe Dreamweaver enables you to build websites using a variety of intuitive options. The interface includes a "Highlighting" feature to display helpful identification color clues in your Web pages for objects such as Library items, editable regions and Mouse-Over. Use the Mouse-Over feature to highlight borders in Dreamweaver for HTML elements like images, DIVs and tables.

      Open your HTML document in Dreamweaver.

      Select "Edit" and "Preferences." Click the "Highlighting" line in the "Category" section. Ensure the "Show" box is checked next to the Mouse-Over field.

      Click the color box to change the highlight color.

    • 4

      Hover over the HTML element border area, for instance the outer edge of a table. The border changes to the highlight color.
