How to Get Paid to Scrapbook

How to Get Paid to Scrapbook thumbnail
Start a business to scrapbook for other people.

Scrapbooking is a craft not everyone has a talent for. Sometimes even those who enjoy it do not have enough time to complete scrapbooks for the important events in their lives. This means there is a market for people looking to pay others to scrapbook for them. Because scrapbook supplies can be expensive when not bought in bulk, it can be an easy way to make money doing something you love.

Instructions

    • 1

Hold a scrapbooking class at your local scrapbooking or craft store. Ask that students pay a small fee to cover the cost of supplies or bring their own. Create an outline for the class to follow to teach specific scrapbooking techniques to students.

    • 2

Start a scrapbooking business. Many people don't have time or patience to scrapbook, but that doesn't mean they don't want their photos organized. Advertise online or at your local craft store. Set a fee for a certain amount of pages or per embellishment on the page. Once word gets out you can build a client list who will come back for more scrapbooks in the future.

    • 3

Sell scrapbook kits at craft fairs. Demonstrate with pages you completed and sell the kits for scrapbookers to buy at your booth. Include every piece needed as well as step-by-step instructions. If pages are simple enough, sell completed pages that the scrapbooker can just add her photos to.
