How to Moderate a Ustream Chat

When you have a Ustream live streaming show, you also have a chat room associated with your show. If a user begins to abuse your chat room or yourself, you can moderate the Ustream chat to ban the user from your chat room completely, kick him from the room temporarily or use the time out command to mute the user for five minutes. You can also promote other users in the chat room to moderator status, hide the chat topic, impose a one-minute delay between user messages, send private message, permit links to be posted in the chat room and pause the chat entirely. This way you can have a clean chat associated with your streaming video, allowing yourself and others in the room to enjoy the show.
