When you create a photo post on Tumblr, you have the ability to set a click-through link on the photo so a visitor can navigate from your Tumblr profile to another website. If you review products on Tumblr, you can use this feature to set affiliate links that readers can use to purchase the products you review. You can also use it to credit the original creator of a photo that you publish. The "Set a click-through link" option is at the bottom of the photo post editor in Tumblr.

Click the "Photo" post type at the top of the Tumblr dashboard page.

Click the "Choose File" button to upload a photo from your computer. Locate the picture that you want to post on your Tumblr blog, and double-click it.

Enter text in the "Caption" field to comment on or describe the image in the post.

Click "Set a click-through link" at the bottom of the post editor page.

Click the field under "Clicking this photo links to the URL," and type the address of the website that should be displayed when readers click the photo in the post.
