How to Use a PFX File
A PFX file is one of two file types: a "PKCS #12 Certificate File" or t a PFX text file created with a text editing program. A PFX certificate file is an encrypted security certificate file that is saved to the hard drive and stores authenticity information from a specific web site. For example, your banking institution installs certain security certificates on your computer for you to sign into its Web application.
