The promotions and prizes are advertised on various websites. You may want to block Aussieprizes.Com.Au. For example, you may want to prevent your children from signing up for these promotions and prizes. You may do so by editing the Windows hosts file.

Instructions

1. Click "Start" and "Computer," type "Hosts" into the search box and double-click "Hosts" in the results box. Note that you can also navigate to the hosts file by opening the WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\ folder.

2. Double-click "Notepad" when asked what program you would like to use to open the hosts file. The hosts file opens in Notepad.

3. Scroll to the bottom of the hosts file and add the following line of text.

   127.0.0.1 Aussieprizes.Com.Au

4. Click "File" and "Save." Aussieprizes.Com.Au is now blocked in all of your Web browsers.
