Instructions

    • 1

Cut a sign from posterboard that will fit along the trunk of the car. Use markers, paint and glitter to write "Just Married" on the board. Attach silk flowers or confetti for an extra touch. Attach using rope inside of the trunk. You can also write "Just Married" on the back window using window paint. If it is raining, this will wash off.

Punch a hole in empty soda or food cans and tie a string through it. Tie the string to the back bumper of the car. Make sure the string or rope is long enough that the cans just nearly touch the ground. Use their favorite flavor for a personalized touch.

Wrap the car in streamers or toilet paper. Make sure you can get in the car. Use paper that is the same color as the wedding party. Place wedding-themed window clings on the windows as long as they're not in blind spot.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you choose to use paint, be sure to use a product that is washable -- not permanent. You don't want the paint to wash off in the rain, but you also don't want to cost the bride and groom a new windshield!

  • If you block the "blind spot" on a car with decorations, this could lead to a driving accident. If too much of the windows are covered, making it difficult to see, police can pull you over and give you a ticket. Always keep in mind safety first, even if the car looks festive with decorations everywhere.
