Memmert Universal Oven Operating Instructions

Memmert is a company that makes a series of thermal ovens and water and oil baths, primarily for the scientific community with two different locations in Germany. The Memmert Universal oven is a unit that is designed for use in a laboratory setting for precise drying, aging, heating and hardening of objects for various industries and applications. The oven may be used for scientific study, research and development or quality assurance.

Instructions

1. Turn on the oven by flipping the main switch then move the temperature regulator knob to the proper temperature for your application.

2. Input the time period you want the oven to run for. A running time of 50 Hz equals 24 hours and 60 Hz equals 20 hours.

3. Set the objects to be dried, heated or hardened inside the oven and close the door. The oven turns off automatically.

Tips & Warnings

• Lubricate the door hinges of the oven with a thin, silicon grease at least four times a year for optimal performance. Also lubricate any moving parts of the temperature controller.

• Clean the interior and exterior of the oven weekly with a commercial stainless steel cleaning solution.
