How to Troubleshoot Hotmail Emails That Bounce to the Delete File
Most email programs include spam filters that automatically delete junk emails. Occasionally, legitimate emails that you actually want to read can be incorrectly marked as spam and automatically sent to the "Junk Email" or "Deleted" folder by mistake. If Microsoft Outlook automatically bounces messages from certain Hotmail addresses into the "Deleted" folder, you can troubleshoot and resolve the problem by adding the Hotmail email addresses to the program's "Safe Sender" list.

1
Launch Microsoft Outlook.

2
Click the "Home" tab on the main navigation menu.

3
Click the "Junk" button in the "Delete" group. Choose "Junk Email Options" from the context menu.
-

Click the "Safe Senders" tab and then click "Add." Enter into the input box the Hotmail email address that you want to include in the program's "Safe Sender" list. If you want to add all Hotmail email addresses to the safe list, enter the entire email address domain, which is the part of address following the "@" symbol.

Click the "OK" button. Repeat this procedure for each individual Hotmail email address that you want to include in the "Safe Sender" list.
