How to Make a Resume for a Fast Food Restaurant
The way you would write your resume for a fast food position is not that different from a resume for other types of positions. Your resume should be at least one page long, and you want to include mainly work experiences that relate to the position you're applying for. Even if some of your jobs were unpaid, still include them because employers like to see that you had a steady work history.

1
Avoid generic objectives on the resume. Instead of writing "To obtain a position as a prep cook at Jack in the Box," write something like, "To obtain a position in which I can utilize the skills I gained as a line cook and waitress to provide quality customer service to your company."
-
2
Include relevant work experiences in the resume. For example, if you worked as a catering assistant for a few years, put this on the resume. Also write specific job duties regarding your catering job. Mention that you prepared meals, prepared invoices for clients and assisted with setting up food stations at different events.

If you're a member of a professional food service organization or if you have any special certifications, include this in the resume. For example, if you're applying for a fast food management position and you hold certification in a certain area of food service, such as food safety, mention it in the resume.

4
Proofread your resume before sending it to the employer. Be sure that it is grammatically correct and that you have the right addresses, phone numbers and names of your past employers.
