How to Program a Mitel SX-200 EL
Mitel is the manufacturer of the SX-200 EL phone system. This phone system gives you control of your voice mail, allowing you to create voice mail greetings for your employers or clients. The administrator's guide for the Mitel SX-200 EL may seem overwhelming at first because it is about 300 pages long. However, it is easy to set up your voice email with Mitel; the steps just take some time to complete.

Click the Mitel icon on your computer to launch the software. Log in with your user name and password. Click "System" and "Voice Processor."

Click the plus (+) sign next to "Voice Processor." Do the same for the "Devices" section. Click on "Mailboxes."

Look for your mailbox number, which is the same as your extension. Click the plus sign next to it. Click on "Unified Messaging."

Click "Unified Messaging Level," located on the right. If you cannot find it, contact Mitel to obtain a license number. The "Unified Messaging Level" gives you access to your licensing number.

Enter "Forward" or "Forward Copy" into the values. Click on "Email Server" and enter the name of your server. Click on "Email Account User Name" and enter your user name.

Locate "Email Account Password." Right-click the box next to it and select "Edit Password." Enter it twice for verification.

Restart your computer for changes to take effect. Launch the Mitel software once more.

Click on "Email Gateway," then click on "Email System." Choose your email system from the list. Enter your email server, user name and password. Exit out to save the changes.

Test your voice mail system from another phone.
If your voice mail system does not receive messages, contact Mitel customer service. You could have a problem with your license number or server.
