Learn how to make yourself look like a scary witch.

Dressing up like a scary witch for a Halloween party or theatre production is easy with the right face paint, a sponge and a few makeup tools that you may already have in your bathroom. After painting your face, complete the outfit with a long fiery red wig, black hat and black dress. Don a seductive, wicked attitude that will give your character a truly terrifying demeanor. Instead of a broom, complete your scary witch costume with a painted neck, hands and any other exposed skin the same color as your face to give the impression that your entire body is green with envy.

Instructions

Apply matte makeup foundation to your face and neck for a smooth, flat surface. Use a new foundation makeup sponge to apply neon green eyeshadow evenly all over your entire face, neck and ears.

    • 2

Use a blush brush to add pale yellow eyeshadow to your cheekbones. Apply deep red eyeliner around your eyes. Start at the inner corner and move to the outside corner. Apply a red-bronze eyeshadow to your eyelids and the area 1/4-inch below your eyes.

    • 3

Put on a pair of fake eyelashes to extend your eyelashes out from your eyes. Paint the eyelashes with green mascara.

    • 4

Use a lipliner brush to apply black eye shadow or face paint to your eyebrows to give them a dramatic look. Put on bright, rich red lipstick to complete the scary witch look.

    • 5

Put on a black dress. Cover your hands and chest and any other exposed skin with the same green eyeshadow you used on your face. Wear a fiery red wig and black hat to complete your outfit.
