How to Get the Treescent in "UniCreatures"
The video game "UniCreatures" is a free browser-based pet simulation game for the computer. Players have choice of creatures to start with and can explore the gameworld to obtain new pets and interact with the other creatures. The game uses text and static pictures to convey the story. While exploring the game world, players have three different options for each story segment which then determines which creatures the players interact with and what items they receive. The "Treescent" is an item that you can use in the "Transmute" process to make other items.

Navigate to the "UniCreatures" website, which is listed in the Resources section below, and click on one of the creatures shown on the bottom right of the page.

Click "Acquire this pet!" on the next screen and you will receive a user ID and password for the site.

Click the "Explore the World" link on the left hand side of the screen under "Features."

Click the "Sargasso" icon to travel to that location. You will have fifty "exploration energy" points, which are displayed the bottom of the screen, and will always have three different options from which to choose that determine what happens.

Read the story and make your choice by clicking on one of the three different pictures underneath the story text. Every choice you make has a chance of rewarding you with an item. The item displays above the story text and is added automatically to your inventory.

Keep on playing until you get an option to interact with a creature called "Fwog." Select it and you will get the message that "Fwog is happy for your care!" You will acquire the "Treescent" as well as some coins. The same will happen when you interact with a "Boo"

Click "My Profile" on the left of the screen and select "Accomplishments," which is the golden cup icon in the middle of the screen. This displays a list of actions that will earn you accomplishments in the game and unlock new areas where you can interact with new creatures such as "Moosh" in the "Silva area" and earn even more treescent.
