How to Remove a MacBook Spacebar
Removing keys from your MacBook may seem like a simple task, but the spacebar would prove that a misconception. The key is held in place by two metal bars and two plastic hinges that all must be carefully released to remove the key. Simply prying up the key would work, but you will certainly break the hinges and brackets and make it impossible to reinstall. Carefully popping the key up with a screwdriver may take longer, but you'll do much less damage in the process.
