How to Use Google Maps to Create a KML File
The Google Maps KML file inserts lines, polygons, markers and labels to a Google Map. While you can learn to create KML programs, you can also build your map using Google Maps, then download the corresponding KML file for later use. Sign in to your Google account, or create a new free account before creating your map.
