How to Open the Scorpio Gate in "Final Fantasy XII"
"Final Fantasy XII" is a role-playing game created by Square Enix. As you play through the game, you will come across the Giruvegan area. To progress through the area, you need to remove a number of gates blocking your way. The Scorpio gate is one of those gates. To open up the Scorpio Gate and pass through it, you must first defeat the boss, Esper Shemhazai and then activate the gate stone.

Play through the main storyline until you reach the "Great Crystal."

Travel through the Great Crystal and complete the story events that you encounter while traveling through the area. Once you have made your way through the Great Crystal, you will have to face Esper Shemhazai. Defeat Esper Shemhazai and you will receive the esper as an item.

Return to the Scorpio gate at the start of the Great Crystal. Walk forward, then take the first passage on the left.

Head down that passage and you will come to the Scorpio gate stone.

Activate the stone and run back to the Scorpio gate. The gate will be open for a short space of time so you will need to run back and get through the gate before it closes. If you do not reach the gate in time, go back and activate the stone again to try and make your way through the gate once more.
