Instructions

    • 1

Thread the machine from the spool into the front. Loop the thread through the needle guide at the top of the housing, where the needle is. Continue threading from left to right. Pull the ends of the thread underneath the pressure foot and in the back.

    • 2

Place the bobbin into the bobbin case. Pull the end of the thread into the bobbin case. At least 4 inches of the thread should come out of the bobbin case. Insert the bobbin case into the space below the needle. Slide the case to the right to close the bobbin area.

    • 3

Hold the thread that extends from the needle and top of the machine. Rotate the wheel on the side of the Necchi machine clockwise. This lowers the needle below the plate cover and back up again. The thread will then loop through the bobbin and the pressure foot.

    • 4

Place fabric underneath the pressure foot, but on top of the slide plate. Lower the pressure foot to hold the fabric securely.

    • 5

Press your foot on the pedal slightly. This lowers and raises the needle, creating stitches in the fabric. Allow the Necchi machine to run until desired.

    • 6

Raise the pressure foot when done. Cut the ends of the thread to release the fabric from the machine.
