How to Use Different Numbers on Facebook

List more than one mobile number on your Facebook account.

At some point, you may need to use different phone numbers on Facebook. For example, if you want to buy Facebook Credits with a different mobile number, you can add a new number to your account. You may want to receive text notifications on two different mobile phones. You can add multiple phone numbers to your Facebook account.

Instructions

1. Log in to facebook.com. Click the "Account" menu from the top navigation bar. Select "Account Settings."

2. Go to the "Mobile" tab and click the "Add Another Phone" link in the "Mobile Phones" section.

3. Select your "Country" and "Mobile Carrier" from the pop-up window. Click the "Next" button.

4. Open the text message utility on the mobile phone with the number that you want to add. Text message the letter "F" to "32665," which spells out "FBOOK." You will receive a text message with a confirmation code.

5. Type the confirmation code into the text field box in the Facebook window on your computer. Click "Next." Facebook will display a "Confirmed!" message.

6. Click the "Save Preferences" button at the bottom when finished.
