Malicious programs generally slow your computer.

INK is a file extension that stands for Digital Ink File. The file extension is primarily used by Microsoft's Tablet PC, a fully-functional personal computer that is geared for pen-enabled, handwriting-enabled and speech-enabled applications. Like all files, INK files can become corrupted by malicious programs. If this occurs, you will want to delete the file and install a fresh copy. You can do this using the Windows Command Prompt.

Instructions

    • 1

Click "Start," then "All Programs," then "Accessories." Right-click "Command Prompt" and select "Run as Administrator." The Command Prompt opens.

    • 2

Type "del name.Ink" into the Command Prompt and press Enter. Note that "name" should be replaced with the name of the file that you want to remove.

    • 3

Type "exit" and press Enter to close the Command Prompt.
