The Contempra Crepe Machine, developed in the late 1970s by Thomas Manufacturing Inc., is considered a vintage cooking device. As an electric crepe maker, it was innovative technology at that time.   • Crepe batter
  • Rubber Spatula

Instructions

      Plug in the crepe machine and set it to the desired temperature. There is a thermostat control on this model. A light will turn on to alert you that the machine is ready. To test if the machine is hot enough for your batter, put a small drop of batter on the surface. If it sizzles, it is ready.

      Spray the surface lightly with oil if you want added nonstick power.

      Pour on 1/4 cup of crepe batter and spread it out with a rubber spatula or pick the crepe maker up by its handle and swirl the batter around to coat the surface.

      Slide it off, onto a plate, once the crepe is golden brown and pulling away at the edges.
