How to Use a Staedtler Bible Kit
Staedtler, one of the oldest industrial companies in Germany, is one of the world's leading manufacturers of coloring, writing and drawing instruments, according to Staedtler online. One of the Staedtler ancestors began pencil-making and selling his wares in the 1600s and the tradition of selling writing instruments and other related products continues today. Although the company does not produce or sell Bible kits directly, they do produce Bible highlighters and dry pencils and pens to assist readers with Bible study. Many stores and distributors often promote and sell Staedtler items as Bible study kits. Using Staedtler writing instruments for Bible study is convenient and easy as many of the products are made specifically to work well with thin paper.

1
Familiarize yourself with the Bible mark study system promoted by GT Luscombe, a distributor for Staedtler products. The system comes with a variety of Staedtler Bible highlighter sets promoted by the company as "kits." As you study, mark symbols, keywords and phrases within your Bible using specific Staedtler pen or pencil colors to represent specific topics. This will help you create an easy reference system to use later on.
Use overall guidelines to ask yourself the following: Who? What? Where? Why?
Bible Mark Color Code:
Yellow -- Who
Blue -- What
Green -- Where
Pink -- Why
Black -- Notes
Red -- Christ's words

Write your personal life lesson notes in black within the margins. Personal life lessons are life-changing experiences that help shape your future. Use a black Staedtler pen of your choice, such as the Staedtler Lumocolor permanent pen, which will not bleed through, rip or cause damage to your Bible paper. Most Staedtler pin inks will not fade through time.

Write or underline Christ's words with the red Staedtler pen or pencil if your Bible doesn't already feature His words in red. Distinguishing Christ's words helps greatly when studying the Bible.

Underline important Bible passages within the Bible by using the Staedtler Textsurfer dry wood-cased highlighter pencil. Created for thin paper, the pencil won't smudge within the Bible, which makes it a perfect Bible study companion -- especially for left-handed writers. The highlighter pencil is produced in four neon colors: yellow, green, pink and orange. The pencil is often packaged with other items, such as sharpeners and rulers, when it is distributed and sold within Staedtler Bible study kits available from a variety of stores or distributors. These pencils are not sold within kits directly from Staedtler.
