How to Read an EML File
An EML file is an email file that contains not only the text body of an email, but also perhaps attachments and formatting. An EML file may be read by an email program such as Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express. In fact, the EML file type is the Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express native file type for emails, though other email programs may utilize the EML file extension. EML files are formatted just like Microsoft MHT web-page files, so if you do not have Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express, change the file extension of the EML file to MHT and view the file in Internet Explorer.
