How to Remove an Iron-on Hem
An iron-on hem may also be called hem tape, and it involves ironing a thin strip of tape into the crease of a hem and then ironing it shut. The iron heats the glue and melts the fabric together. However, if you find that you need to adjust the hem or if you realize you've made a mistake, you need to remove the iron-on hem tape and start over. Removing an iron-on hem takes time and patience.
