Qqest Velocity Installation
Keeping track of how many hours your employees have worked during a week can be a challenge if you run or own a business. The Qqest Velocity time clock is a device that you can install in your office so that employees can clock in and out on their own. Before you can set up the Velocity to work for you, you must install the hardware somewhere in your office or building.

1
Slide the mounting plate off of the back of the clock and place it on the surface that you wish to mount it to. The plate should be arranged so that the flat side is on the left side while the round side is on the right side. Then use the power drill to insert the mounting screws through the four holes on the plate to secure it to the wall.

2
Plug the power cord into the input at the bottom of the clock.Connect the opposite end of this cable to a nearby outlet. It is recommended that you connect this cord to a surge protector or battery backup device to prevent damages to the unit during an electrical surge.

Connect the communications cable to the input on the bottom of the clock. There are two different ports on the clock: an Ethernet port and an RJ-11 port. You do not have to connect an item to both of these ports. If you are connecting the clock to a network, connect an Ethernet cord to the port and the other end to the network. If you are using another method, connect the proper cable to the RJ-11 port and the other end to a computer or modem.

4
Connect the clock to the mounting place by putting the top of the clock on the lip at the top of the mounting plate. Move the clock over the center tab on the bottom of the clock so that the hole on the bottom of the clock lines up with the hole on the plate. Place the provided screw through these holes and tighten it.
