Pancake Mix Instructions

Things You'll Need
- 6 cups self-rising flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 cup sugar
- Spoon
- Container with tight lid
- 2 tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg
- Small bowl
- Mixing spoon
- 1/4 cup measuring cup
- Pancake turner

Making Pancake Mix

Pour the self-rising flour, salt and sugar into a large mixing bowl.

Mix these ingredients thoroughly with the spoon.

Pour the mix into a container with a tight lid and label.

Measure 1 cup of the pancake master mix into a small bowl and then mix in the butter, milk and egg with a mixing spoon.

Heat a griddle until hot and then guide a pat of butter over the surface.

Pour 1/4 cup of pancake batter onto the skillet.

When the pancake top becomes filled with bubbles and the sides appear to be slightly dry, carefully flip it over with the pancake turner.

Cook the other side until it is toasty brown.

Repeat this process until the batter is used up.

Tips & Warnings
Serve warm pancakes with syrup, honey, jam or jelly.
Add fruit or nuts to the batter for a taste variation.
