Instructions

    • 1

Measure your wrist. Add 2 inches to your wrist measurement to calculate the length you should cut the leather for your bracelet.

    • 2

Cut a strip of leather about 1-inch wide, and in a length equal to the number you calculated for your wrist measurement. A thinner piece of leather will make a more flexible bracelet.

    • 3

Cut two slits into the piece of leather using sharp scissors. Leave 3/4 inch of uncut leather at each end of the bracelet. Leave plenty of room to attach a snap.

    • 4

Place the left strip of leather over the middle strip, the right strip over the original left strip and the new left strip over the new middle strip.

    • 5

Thread the bottom of the bracelet through the hole that is created on the right side of the bracelet, between the right and two left strips.

    • 6

Place the right strip over the middle strip, the left strip over the new middle strip and the right strip over the new middle strip.

    • 7

Thread the bottom of the bracelet through the left hole that is created between the left strip and two right strips.

    • 8

Adjust the braid to even out the spacing.

    • 9

Glue or sew a snap to the ends of the bracelet in order to wear it.
