How to Get the Hidden Balloon in "Diddy Kong Racing" for the DS
"Diddy Kong Racing" for the Nintendo DS handheld console requires players to collect all the balloons in the game. Three of the balloons sit in "hidden" locations. Fortunately, players can find the balloons easily once they know the exact place to look for them. The balloons take little time to find and collect. Players will need to use a stylus in order to free some of the hidden balloons.

Adventure Balloon

Select "Adventure Mode" from the game menu. Pick out whatever character and car you want to use.

Drive up to Taj on the main map and ask him for a plane.

Travel around to the western part of the island until you see a set of 14 points. Draw the shape of a balloon with the dots to earn the hidden balloon.
Ice Balloon

Turn to the right of the entrance to Snowflake Mountain.

Tap the ice block containing the balloon with the tip of your stylus.

Move the stylus towards the water. The water causes the ice to melt, freeing the balloon.
Dino Domain

Travel to Dino Domain.

Locate the balloon floating on the road.
