How to Convert MTS to MKV
An MTS file is an AVCHD-formatted video that is often associated with video camcorders manufactured by Sony, Panasonic and JVC. While an MTS file can be viewed on a variety of popular media players, you may have trouble burning the video to DVD. An MKV file is a common video file that can support video, audio and subtitle tracks, as well as DVD menus. To convert your MTS file to an MKV file, use third-party video conversion software.
