How to Set up AT&T DSL With a D-Link
D-Link is a network device manufacturer that produces a line of modems specifically intended to be used for DSL connections. As an AT&T DSL customer, you have the option of using the modem of your choice. The modem is responsible for translating data from your DSL line into a format that can be recognized by your PC. When deciding where to position your D-Link modem, keep in mind that it must be close enough to your PC to run an Ethernet cable between the two devices.
