How to Organize Channels on a Sony Bravia Auto Program

Your Sony remote control helps you save channels to a Favorites list.

The Sony Bravia TV includes an Auto Program that scans and saves the channels available through your service provider. Keeping this list updated is helpful when you move or new channels start up. Your Bravia also helps streamline your search for specific channels by adding your favorite channels to a list for quick access.

Auto Program

Step 1

Power on your Bravia set and press “Menu” on your remote control.

Step 2

Press the arrow button to navigate to Channel and then press “+” or the “Set” button to open the list.

Step 3

Press the arrow button to "Auto Program,” press “+” to open the dialog box and then press “+” to select the “OK” button on the screen. The Auto Program searches the digital channels.

Add Favorite Channels

Step 1

Display the channel that you want to add to your Favorites list.

Step 2

Press the “Home” button on your remote control to view the options on your set. Some other Bravia remote controls include a Favorites button to press.

Step 3

Press the arrow button to navigate to the "Heart" symbol and then press the “+” button to confirm. The displayed channel adds to the list on the screen.

Remove Favorite Channels

Step 1

Display the channel that you want to remove from your Favorites list.

Step 2

Press the “Options” button on your remote control.

Step 3

Press the arrow button to navigate to “Remove from Favorites.” Press the “+” or “Set” button.
