Clearwire is an Internet service that gives you wireless Internet that you can take with you on the go to any area where Clearwire can get reception. Essentially the sticks are high speed dial up connections, using the existing cell phone networks to get you good bandwidth. However, for those interested in getting some free Clearwire it is possible, though usually for only a limited time.
Things You'll Need
- Clearwire password
Talk to a Clearwire representative to see if there is a bargain or deal going on. Depending on the month, there might be a "try a month for free" or some other introductory price that gives you a certain period of time cheaper or for free. These deals might vary, and there might be a special occasion if you are a business that's contemplating switching to Clearwire but need a sample.
Sign a contract that gives you a period of free access. Read the contract over carefully, as there may be a clause that says if you don't cancel the free service, you'll automatically agree to a longer contract. Alternatively, you can sign a new contract and often get a bargain deal if, once you've tried Clearwire in the store, you feel it's the sort of service you want.
Find a Clearwire network where the owner allows you to use the connection. Maybe it's a roommate or a co-worker, but Clearwire allows you to use the network connection if you can connect with the password. So if you work out a deal with someone that already uses Clearwire, then you can get access through that person's network.
