How to Follow Conversations on TweetDeck

When you see an interesting reply tweet come across your Twitter feed, finding the original tweet that prompted the reply and the conversation that preceded it can be rather difficult. A few dedicated programs exist that can track conversations, but if you are using TweetDeck, the Twitter interface application, you can use that program's to track the conversation. While it may not be immediately apparent, TweetDeck allows you to see the entire conversation with the click of a button.

      Launch TweetDeck and wait for the interface to load.

      Locate a tweet pertaining to a conversation you want to follow from the list of tweets in your columns.

      Click the "In reply to" text at the bottom of the tweet. This text will be listed directly after the application that the sender used to make the tweet, if it was part of a conversation. A new, slightly larger column will appear containing all the tweets between the involved parties. When you are finished with the conversation, click the "X" in the upper right corner of the new column to remove it.
