Depending on your where you live and what you do for a living, your body temperature can be greatly affected. Extreme heat could lead to heat exhaustion, cramps and even a stroke. Things You'll Need

  • Cold Packs
  • Two t-shirts
  • Needle
  • Thread
  • Tape measure

Instructions

      Cut both sleeves off one of the T-shirts, this will be the vest. Cut the sleeves at the point where they meet the shoulder.

      Measure the length and the width of the cold packs.

      Use the measuring tape to mark the second t-shirt according to the cold pack measurements, add 1/2 inch to each side. This extra 1/2 inch is required to make up for the amount you are sewing.

      Cut your measured pieces.

      Sew the material pieces on to your T-shirt, ensure the top is left open to slip the pack in. Start from the left side of the pocket, sewing toward the bottom, then moving back up to the right.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can obtain inexpensive ice packs from your local medical store.

  • Always be careful when using a needle.
