How to Create a Distribution List in Horde

Horde is a webmail platform that is used to compose, read and share email with others from a Web browser. To save time, Horde lets you manage contact lists as well. The distribution list allows you to send emails to a group of contacts with similar interests, such as staff members within the same department or teammates in your bowling league. You'll need to have an existing contact list to pull from within Horde.

  • Log in to your Horde email account.

  • Click the "Address Book" button in the top right of your screen.

  • Select the "Browse" button in the Horde toolbar. Your existing list of contacts is displayed.

  • Add a checkmark beside any contacts you want to add to the distribution list.

  • Select a targeted contact list from the "Add" drop-down menu. Click "Add." A pop-up box appears.

  • Enter a distribution list name under "Please name the new contact list." Click "OK."
