How to Wipe an Intel SSD
An Intel SSD, also known as a solid state drive, is a type of hard drive that uses no moving parts. The data access speed is generally much higher on a SSD than a hard disk drive, since the SSD does not need to spin platters and seek the data. Wipe SSD data by reformatting, the same as a normal hard drive. Once you have reformatted the drive, you can install a new operating system or begin saving files to it again.
