How to Change Email Address Groups
You can change the email address associated with your Google Groups account through the main Google Accounts portal. When you do this, all email related to Google Groups will be sent to the new address. This action also changes your Google Account username, and email related to other services will be routed to the new address as well. Once you make this change, you will receive an email from Google confirming that your account has been updated.

Open a Web browser, and navigate to google.com/accounts/Login.

Enter your Google credentials in the spaces provided and click "Sign In."

Point the mouse cursor to the "Security" header and then click "Change Email."

Type the new email address into the space provided, followed by the password to that email account.

Click the "Save" button.

Log in to the email account that you are linking with your Google Groups account, and click the email from Google.

Click the verification link within the email to complete the process.

Tips & Warnings
The verification email may take several minutes to arrive in your in-box depending on the amount of traffic the servers are receiving.
This procedure only works if you do not use the Gmail service with your Google account.
