How to Block Numbers on a Samsung Messenger
The Samsung Messager allows you to block incoming and outgoing calls, and restrict the calls to the contacts list. You can set the restrictions independently, so you can block incoming and outgoing calls, but still allow incoming and outgoing calls to numbers on the phone's contact list. This feature can be useful if you are giving the phone to a minor and don't want them to use up all of your minutes.

Press the "Menu" key to open the main menu on the Messager.

Press "9" to select the "Settings" menu.

Press "5" to open "Phone Settings."

Enter your security code. The default code is the last four digits of the phone number.

Open "Restriction." The phone gives you three options. "Outgoing" controls outgoing calls, "Incoming" controls incoming calls, and "Contacts" controls calls to the contact list.

Set the type of call you want to block to "On" and press "OK."
