How to Tie Bridle Knots
A bridle knot, or specifically the double-loop bridle knot, is a classic fishing knot used for holding bait fish on a line. The knot firmly mounts the fish on the hook by inserting the line through the eye cavity and tying off. This is especially useful for live bait trolling. This is a challenging knot, so you may want to practice it a few days before you plan on fishing so that you can efficiently bait your hook when the time comes.
