How to Convert Netmask to IP
A netmask is a set of binary values added to a transit communications interface profiles (TCIP) address to show which network the Internet protocol (IP) address is part of. When viewing a netmask value, only part of the binary segment is usable by a router. Converting a netmask value into an TCIP address is not too difficult. By following the steps for converting a dummy netmask value, it is possible to show how to covert a netmask value into a TCIP addresses.
