How to Use AIM With Tumblr
Tumblr, a free online social network and blog platform, provides users with many ways to publish text, photos, videos, audio, links and virtually any other type of post to their personal blogs. Users can publish their content through the website's traditional Web interface and user dashboard, but also via email, a mobile-optimized Web interface for non-smartphone devices, smartphone applications for iPhone, Blackberry and Android devices and AOL's AIM instant-messaging client. With Tumblr's AIM integration, users can "chat" with the Tumblr servers to publish content to their personal blogs through a typical instant-messaging interface.

Tips & Warnings
You can also use AIM's standard features to send photos, links and other content to your Tumblr blog by clicking the "Options" menu in the upper right corner of the instant messaging window.
Tumblrbot works with the traditional AIM desktop application, mobile AIM applications and the AIM Web interface, but it may not work with third-party AIM-integrated products such as Google Chat.
Be aware that you are openly sending your Tumblr login information over the AIM servers.
