The Facebook wall is a Web page where users can share written comments and links. You must be a confirmed friend to leave a comment on a Facebook user's wall. You might be able to view a non-friend's wall but you won't be permitted to post a comment. Your friend also must have her privacy settings configured to allow friends to post on her wall. If the user has disabled friend comments, you won't be able to post on her wall; instead, you can only send a private message.
Direct your browser to your friend's Facebook profile. Click the "Friends" link on the left side of the homepage or your profile to find a friend, or type the friend's name in the search field at the top of any Facebook page. Click once on the user's name to be directed to her profile.
Click inside of the "Write something" field at the top of your friend's wall to start a new post. Compose your message and click the blue "Share" button to post your comment on your friend's wall.
Add a comment to another Facebook user's post by clicking inside the "Write a comment" field just below the post. Compose your message and press "Enter" to post the comment.
