How to Remove a PDF From a Nook
You cannot delete a PDF file from your Nook directly. Instead, you need to hook your Nook up to your computer and delete the PDF from the "My Documents" folder associated with the device. This removes the PDF from your Nook and displays the PDF in black in your Barnes and Noble library. You can also archive a PDF to remove the file from your Nook. Archived files will still be available in your Barnes and Noble Library.

Tips & Warnings
Barnes and Noble does not recommend manually deleting files. Barnes and Noble Customer Service will not be able to retrieve the PDF. Instead, it suggests that you archive the PDF. Deleting the PDF from your Nook does not remove it from your Barnes and Noble library.
