How Do I Get Sorority Members to Notice I Want to Be in a Sorority?
A sorority is an undergraduate organization composed of young women who either live, work, or interact socially together. Although the recruitment process varies for each individual sorority; in general, prospective applicants are expected to rush: attend a week of activities organized by the sorority and meet current sorority members. It is important that you present yourself in a positive light during the entire week, and take every opportunity possible to show your enthusiasm for joining the organization.

1
Attend all scheduled rush week activities. Typically, there is an event every night or day, and they offer rushees an opportunity to learn more about the organization and get to know the members. Show up on time, and stay until the very end of the event.
-
2
Ask informed questions about the organization. Do your research ahead of time and learn about the history of the sorority, so you can ask articulate and thoughtful questions about the sorority's purpose and mission.

Offer to help clean up after rush week events. A huge aspect of sorority life is shared responsibility, especially in situations where the members live together. Offering to do dishes or pick up trash after a party is not only polite, but shows that you are conscientious and reliable.
