How to Install a SPA-400 Webcam

Webcams are popularly used for video conferencing.

The Sepia SPA-400 webcam is a USB webcam that comes with a stand for positioning and a microphone. It is a plug and play webcam, meaning that no software is required to install it. Windows will automatically install the webcam once it is plugged in. The camera does not come with an install CD and it does not need one. Installation should take less than a minute.

Instructions

1. Locate a free USB port on the computer.

2. Locate the USB plug on the Sepia SPA-400 webcam.

3. Plug the Sepia SPA-400 webcam's USB plug into the computer's USB port.

4. Wait while the computer detects the webcam. The bottom right corner of the task-bar should indicate that the computer found the new hardware and is installing it. A bubble saying that the webcam was installed successfully will appear once the camera has been installed.

5. Open up an application that supports webcams and test out the Sepia SPA-400 webcam.
