Google Analytics tracks many ciritical measures of a website's success in graphical format.

Google Analytics is a popular tool for tracking traffic and visitor activity on a website. If you have many websites, you may wish to track the traffic on all of your websites using Google Analytics. Fortunately, Google allows webmasters to create many Analytics accounts with a single Google account. Thus, creating many accounts in Google Analytics can be done from the Analytics page after logging in with a single Goolge Account.

Instructions

    • 1

Create a Google Account at google.com/accounts/NewAccount, if you don't have one already. If you already have a Google Account, such as a Gmail account, sign into your Google account at google.com/accounts/ServiceLogin. If you are creating a new account, you will sign into the account in the same manner once the account is set up.

    • 2

Access Google google.com/analytics/, then click on the large blue button that says, "Access Analytics."

    • 3

Create a new Google Analytics account. Select the drop down menu on the top-right of the screen that says, "Analytics Accounts," and select "Create New Account." On the next page, select, "sign up."

    • 4

Enter the URL for your website in the box labeled "website's URL" on the signup page. Give the account a nickname that you will remember. If creating bulk accounts, it can be critical to give the accounts memorable or systematic nicknames so that you do not forget which account is linked to which website.

    • 5

Select "Continue," and enter your name and country on the next page, then click continue again.

    • 6

Read and accept the terms of service on the next page, then select "create account." This will bring you to the page with your tracking code to place on your website.

    • 7

Navigate to the list of your Google Analytics accounts, either by clicking on the Google Analytics icon in the upper-left corner of the screen, or by entering the URL google.com/analytics/settings/home while still logged into your Google Account. Check to be sure your new account has been created.

    • 8

Repeat this process for every website you wish to track.

Tips & Warnings

  • Google requires the user to manually enter the URL for each Google Analytics account and to manually accept the terms of service. Thus, there is no simple way to automate the process. Fortunately, once your Google Account is set up, it takes no more than a few minutes to set up each account.
