Along with candy and soda, hot buttery popcorn has long been a favorite movie-time snack. The next time your family is settling in on the sofa for an evening of movies and snacks, surprise them with a bowl full of popcorn that has been flavored in a new way. The butter that is usually already on popcorn can help any flavors that you add stick to the kernels. Your popcorn can be sweetened, spiced up, or made to taste like some of your favorite foods.   • Candy bar
  • 2 tbs. oil
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 tbs. taco seasoning
  • 2 tbs. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning mix
  • 1sp. paprika
  • Sea salt to taste
  • Chili powder to taste

      Create a sweet popcorn snack by melting your favorite candy bar on top of a bag of microwave popcorn. Pop your corn as you normally would and then spread it out on a microwave-safe plate. Slice up a candy bar into small pieces and place the pieces on top of the popped corn and heat in the microwave until the pieces melt into a nice chocolaty drizzle.

      Make savory taco-flavored popcorn by combining oil, butter and premade taco seasoning. Pop your popcorn as usual, then toss the popcorn with your seasoned mixture in a large bowl.
